As part of the VEF Fellowship application and selection process, VEF will organize the University Application Orientation (UAO) for its nominees and alternates who are now applying to the U.S. universities for the 2014 Fall term. The UAO will provide helpful advice on how to prepare an outstanding graduate school application package to submit to U.S. universities. This session would include the following information:

  1. Guidelines on how to apply to U.S. universities
  2. Directives on how to write a good Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  3. Guidance on obtaining good recommendation letters
  4. Strategies for submitting a successful application

While the contents of this session are tailored primarily for the VEF applicants, other prospective graduate students will find this session informative and useful. VEF welcomes the attendance of others who are interested in learning about applying to graduate schools (master’s and Ph.D. programs) at U.S. universities.
